MorphSat Tool

Hey all, long time no see. For past few years I've been emailing with folks who are trying to make their own virtual rides and it bothers me how much difficulty people have manipulating workout files, like it is some sort of magic. For a while now I've wanted to make a tool to help people realize th...

Re: tts file - T2056.07

The bluray disc content that I've seen is spectacular. My friend has one. Huge long rides and great quality video. I've scoured the internet and am trying to purchase one from literally the other side of the planet. Sure wish I'd known how great they were while they were on sale on amazon. They work...

Re: TTS4 License Server - It Works at Least For Now - But Not After March 1

I have a licensed TTS4 which is working. And 10 Blu-ray video routes that I bought off Tacx last year when they were selling them off. But I only tried to install them today for the first time and have come up against the license server problem. A quick internet search has got me here and it looks ...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Along with a few others I was playing at making my own virtual rides. The old tools to make rlv and tts files seem to be gone from internet, or whatever is there is really broken. I was looking at constructing new tools and am able to round trip rlv but the tts format was just too much typing. And t...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

This is for rides prior to the DRM being added to the TTS files? Ive actually got a drive open with this ride on it right now, just checking out the original data. It looks like we were using at least barometric data back then, the grades should not be too bad, for sure for this ride they are smoot...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Hey All, I've been busy with a bunch of stuff, not working on golden cheetah. Was procrastinating and not making the live map. And now our MTB trails are open, I really won't get anything done. So another guy stepped up to the plate and made it happen. First he made an elevation map overlap and now ...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Makes me cringe to see that layout because of that map... that map... I want a real time maaap… Is going to need to be my next task for golden cheetah but I so hate doing ui. Erik The map used in that image is actually from a very old version of the software, even then there is a option to flip to ...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

I do not recall very much in the way of TTS tools as the TTS control files are encrypted. There was quite a bit around for the non-encrypted PGMF and RLV control files used for the old Fortius program, which only worked with a 32-bit OS. I remember a few programs like RLV Cockpit, RLV Studio, and T...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

where did all the public rlv/tts tools go? I see mention of them but cant find anything. Do you mean like RLV studio etc., most are still around - though I don't think many have been updated in a long time. Yes, rlv studio was one that got a lot of mention. But the web site is gone. Not seeing it o...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Wow gorgeous! And such a sweet ui... You should tell Tacx, I think they are unaware how much this Desktop App is actually liked... I don't own a tacx trainer so can't use that software but I know good when I see it. If that team isn't being appreciated then I feel bad for them. Very profess...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

After similar experiences with lost data I do believe I have more money tied up in backup hard drives than in the originals  I could never afford to be able to back up most of my footage like for like,  what's in TDA right now is spread of some 70 hard drives & that's since 2013, there i...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

I lost photos once. I was playing with drive encryption and just didnt write down the huge key. Nothing nearly as real as your lost footage. I now use drive mirroring but i think more important i keep all data on blurays away from my house. 50gb each. Change submitted to golden cheetah to support tt...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Hi all and especially bertha! It is really great to meet someone that was involved when these were made. I bet it is pretty satisfying to make this stuff. I can just imagine the feeling of having just recorded one of these beautiful rides. Having a dream that you're making money while filming compet...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

I didn't know that intent was for these files to only work within tacx software. Not exactly respectful to tacx customers. I found some java to unpack tts, ported to c++ and now have tts files playing in golden cheetah. The video sync with location is very good. In my files the gps data itself isn't...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

I'm starting to think you modern enthusiasts would find the behavior of these old files is terrible. Lot of water under the bridge in the past 12 years. I just enjoy the sunny mountain skies more than staring at a bar graph. I didn't mean anyone should host the video files. Even though they are old ...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Eri, If you would like your RLVs to be hosted on Lunicus - please let me know. I think he is using old Fortius software Tacx RLVs from before 2007 but is trying to make his own data file for them from modern GPS. Eri - Grade data taken from mapping programs normally comes from Landsat satellites, a...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Mike if he has a pgmf file for it it must be for the old Fortius Software, so the film in the question of the Mortirolo must be older then 2007. The grades should be in sync with the film if you run it inside Fortius software but there will not be any map data. Obviously, if you ride a film & u...

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs

Those old crufty tacx videos are fine, its just all the auxiliary data isn't so great. Not sure what specific videos you are referring to. There are some very old videos used with early versions of the older Fortius and subsequent TTS1 and TTS2 software that were more basic. Things improved a lot l...

Making and Modifying RLVs

Hi Folks, I'm completely new to the virtual ride community. Seems like this is the best forum on the web for this stuff. Sorry if its not wanted here. If so can anyone point me to a better place to discuss this stuff? I use golden cheetah to 'ride' rlvs. I'm a fan of free and open source. I recently...
