I'm using TTS4 with an ancient BKool Connect - USB cable from the trainer to the computer, and am Ant+ USB stick - it needs both. Works fine.
TTS4 should work with any ANT+ trainers

TTS4 Local Multiplayer (LAN) Firewall Settings
Despite being end of life, TTS4 can still be used for multiplayer on the same network for 2+ computers. To ensure you can ride together on the same network, select LAN Racing when creating (hosting) your ride. Firewall settings and virus scanner The first time you do this, windows normally informs y...

Also liked Road Grand Tours original desktop BETA which still worked a couple weeks ago with the caveat that since the change to the mobile app, I no longer 'see' any other riders on Cap Formentor. I also have monthly subscriptions for BigRingVr and Rouvy, and lately have been using the new Rouvy A...

Kostya will be very happy to hear your views on VeloReality. It's a good platform and often doesn't receive the credit it deserves. I've only used the demos unfortunately - and that was some time ago. When it comes down to software for indoor training, I've become a hoarder :p The Zwift Competitors ...

Re: Tacx Apps World Map (ok mostly EU map ;) )
I use to load in all the GPX routes into Google Earth, but this is better. It's good to see a 'world' view of the rides and drill down to see the routes winding through the countryside. In TDA - the map is too small and fiddly I find. BTW the only Australian route shown isn't far from my house :p Po...

Mike the main ‘perceived’ litigation threat to Garmin & Tacx is the US with its high number of cycling lawyers (like you ;-) ) & it’s why there are actually no US films at all now & why none of those pulled from California were returned. Interesting, wondered why they disappeared. Hopef...

Re: Anyone know how to 'copy' a TTS user from one computer to another
Why not just create a new user with the same name and copy any history from the old computer. I've done that on three PCs last month without any issues - one of which is not connected to the internet at all.

Re: Making and Modifying RLVs
The altitude data looks very much like representation in 3D Route Builder. I remember trawling through several thousand entries for a couple RLV's I made of the Richmond Park, UK circuit. Alas, just when it was decent enough I had a drive failure and lost the lot. Never got round to recreating it ag...

I am sure this goes without saying, but Lunicus will only host free / fan made (with their consent) RLVs that do not contravene any copyright laws, Garmins or any 3rd Party RLV companies (no matter their size).

Alas almost all technical companies fall foul of local laws in one way or another. Some very minor and obscure laws, some more visible. It's a sign of our times alas. And that makes it okay, or what? No.. it doesn't, but as I said it's a sign of our times. We live in a digital era these days, an er...

Re: TDA alternatives
Quite simply, if you buy a product in Germany, you have the right to use it without restriction. This is not the case with TTS4 and therefore most likely violates laws. And what does it have to do with the fact that you were a customer of mine many years ago? With this comparison I just wanted to s...

We use to host an online GPS Smoother applet, but had to hard code the applet to work. Rather than embed it. Brenda created it and good it is! I've used it a lot. More since the 3D Route Builder stopped working due to changes in the Google Maps API. It is still available on Brenda's website: https:/...

Thanks for that - I now have the Program Data file, but this has been created by the reinstall and is dated last week. All the Run folders are empty as I have done no rides since the install. Dodgy power supply. Every time we have a power outage this happens... Sounds like time to swap out the PS and maybe get a UPC. There are a couple ways to Extended Security Updates (ESU) on Windows 7, to continue using it after Microsoft pulls the plug. As TTS4 is no longer supported and the TACX authorisation server is offline. Should you encounter an issue with your license that stops TTS4 from working, there is very little you can do to get it working again. Tacx will not be able to provide a new registration code or license file. Hence the only...

Re: Zwift Steering with Blacktrack?
I also experienced the doomed PC issue with a corrupt Lic file in the past. In the end Tacx issued a new Lic. If I trawl through my emails, I can see 7 new Lic files over the years. In all those cases, my legit (hard copy) serial was not recognised by the authorisation server. By the way, changing t...

I tried TDA with a Bkool Smart Connect trainer (ANT+). It doesn't connect to the trainer despite showing it in the devices list. Where it identifies the trainer with a Cadence and Speed option. Yes, LAN racing... alas the google maps have stopped entirely now.
My TTS4 license file (*.lic) corrupted yesterday, so even with a valid serial you cannot get it reauthorised. Fortunately, I had a system restore from a few weeks back that saved the day.

Is there a link on this site (or anywhere else) that I can download the V2.02 software and V2.03 + v2.04 patches from. My driver software on v.1.32 and 1.34 which I do have is not working even though I have used a vanilla Vista 32 bit installation. https://lunicus.org/tacx-trainers/fortius-software...
