Re: Tacx flow T2240 calibration issue
Interesting, as Mcorn mentions, have a look at eddy current brakes. But it looks like you could be missing two magnets, since the molding has eight holes in it. My grandfather use to use ferrite magnets in his engineering days. I still have some, I've found that can shatter fairly easily once chippe...

Having taken apart a dodgy Bkool Pro recently, I had to remove the fly wheel to get to the magnets.

Au Fond de la Cote - France
Just watched the highlights from the ROUTE D’OCCITANIE 2020 ROUTE STAGE 4: LECTOURE – ROCAMADOUR.
That last climb looks like fun (I use the word casually).

Re: Help on transfering Fortius TTS4.23 sw and all data/setting to new laptop
Fresh install of TTS4.23.1 and then copied my licenses, *.tts files and history over. Though reading through the previous posts, Yan mentioned Finally, I am not sure if it matters that the old and new computers both have the same 32-bit or 64-bit OS. Going from a 32-bit to a 64-bit OS might make a d...

As long as the new computer is set up the same as the old computer it will work.
Computer name must be the same.
Location of the TTS application on the hard drive must be the same too!
I tried it last night on a Windows Sandbox PC

Re: Map not rendering on screen
Mine is due to network connection. I assume TDA does not directly poll the Map provider from the user, but rather talks to the Tacx server which gets the data?! Assumptions are a bad thing :p

If you could make this compatible with Bkool Connect and Go trainers (both ANT+ , not ANT+ FEC). I know two people who would love to test for you.ZwiftWithTacxFortius wrote: ↑Tue May 26, 2020 9:25 am Tacx i-Vortex is now also supported.

Re: Map not rendering on screen
I had that last week - though when I checked again this morning it was working again. I thought it may be an issue with getting the information from Google Maps, rather than an issue with TDA. As it happened on a different PC that is running a different version of the TDA app. But as my old boss use...

That's normal - the Online Multiplayer servers are offline and the Google Map integration became a licensed thing when Google pushed the cost up.
Local (i.e. your home network) multiplayer will work if you have two or more trainers on the network. The RLVs, VR Worlds etc, will still work

A friend of mine made his own moveable TV stand using an old projector screen - nice and stable, but a little precarious when moving as its top heavy. I have mine on a similar, but shorter stand, which in turn in on an Ikea table with wheels. The best thing is being able to adjust the height - handy...

Not like the Bkool that is sitting in my shed waiting for a response from their support team (11 weeks and counting). I suspect you may be waiting for quite a long time for that response seeing as BKool exited the trainer business last November . Indeed! Alas, it's my sons - so he's pretty unhappy ...

Personally I agree with Mcorn, the Neo is awesome. In the time I've had my Neo (version 1), I've not had any issues with the hardware. Not like the Bkool that is sitting in my shed waiting for a response from their support team (11 weeks and counting). Four of my riding buddies have all moved from E...

I use a 40" TV too. The bottom of the screen is about level with the height of my handlebars. Which gives me a nice sitting up view, but not a neck-wrenching experience when on the drops.

Hi Jurgen,
Can you email me the log files? nzuraw at lunicus dot org and I will have a look.
Could be something like .Net not being installed or a runtime module.

Re: Fortius software help
Oh!? I just downloaded it using WinRar and it opened fine. I guess it could be file compression? I created the .rar files with WinRar. They are the same files that were on the site before the revamp (same location too). So this must be a recent issue with the file? I'll recreate them as .zip files.

Just checked the free RLVs, a couple don't have files for the Fortius (never had those). All the others seem fine. I just downloaded the xxxxPGMF.rar file - in each file is the .pgmf and .rlv file.

There are some free videos on this website, although some do not appear to have all 3 files and some are incorrectly labeled "rar" when they are simply "pgmf" files. Oops that will be me! I'll change that shortly. I notice that most of these free videos do not a *.rlv file, whic...

What trainer and software are you using? It could be as simple as selecting Video Player 1 in the video settings of TTS4 for example.
