Do not really understand the question or what you are trying to do. Best source for Golden Cheetah information is probably the Golden Cheetah website, the Golden Cheetah Twitter page, or Google Golden Cheetah user group:

How do I post an image here?
Basically you need firmware to run GC on a Mac with a Fortius trainer
Without it you can't run with the Fortius.
Problem is they don't provide the firmware on the GC website
I'd show you the message if the posting an image function worked here (which I assume that landscape image button is supposed to do?)

The firmware is for the T1902 and T1942 head units only.
GoldenCheetah do not provide it because it is copyright TacX.
You need to extract it from TacX's software.
Here's what GoldenCheetah says...
And for the i-magic...
Unpack the .rar file and you'll have a .ISO. Double click it and your Mac will mount the the ISO as if it were a CD. Follow the instructions above to find the right file.

You could of course just google for 'FortiusSWPID1942Renum.hex' and find it without too much trouble.Tacx Fortius trainers require a firmware file which is provided by Tacx BV. This file is a copyrighted file and cannot be distributed with GoldenCheetah.
On windows it is typically installed in C:\Windows\system32 and is called 'FortiusSWPID1942Renum.hex'.
On Linux and Apple computers you will need to extract it from the VR Software CD. The file we need is within the 'data2.cab' file, which is an InstallShield file that can be read with the 'unshield' tool
Please take care to ensure that the file is the latest version of the Firmware file.
If you choose to copy to library the file will be copied into the GoldenCheetah library, otherwise we will reference it.
And for the i-magic...
If you've not got the CD, Download the Fortius v2.02 software from https://lunicus.org/tacx-trainers/fortius-software/Tacx Imagic trainers require firmware to be loaded. This firmware is embedded within the device driver I-magic.sys which is provided by Tacx BV. This is a copyrighted file and cannot be distributed with GoldenCheetah.
On windows systems with Tacx Fortius/Imagic installed you will typically find this in C:\Windows\system32.
Alternatively, you can extract it from a Tacx software CD
On older Fortius cds it lives in the directory FortiusInstall\Support\driver_imagic.
On later TTS cds it is in support\drivers_usb_interface\32
Place a copy of this file somewhere on this PC and reference it above.
