Hello - I have borrowed an old smart trainer from a friend - a mighty T1981 Bushido! Its all I need for the occasional indoor spin - my issue is that the T1982 screen and controller it came with keeps turning off - if it does turn on. I've tried playing with the battery terminals, new batteries etc but it is still no good. When I can get it to stay on I can see it is matched up to the trainer and it works but so far i've only gotten less than 30 seconds into a workout. I am pretty sure it is an electrical issue - need some advice before opening it up.
Failing that how else can i connect to this trainer? I think its age means connecting into ANT+ will be difficult....
Any ideas?
