Considering to design a Ant+ interface for the T1941 motor brake and the function of the steering headset as use on a Fortius Multiplayer. it connects the steering and motor to it, the headset won't need needed. A feature could be the emulate the original headset over USB as well, So TTS and newer apps can be used at the same time. that would need to add the 4 buttons

Is there still interest in something like that or has everyone thrown out their Fortius trainer in the garbage can ?

Does anyone have the pin-out of the steering connector? It will save a bit of time puzzling and don't wish to disassemble it.
Did that a long time ago and AFAIK there is just one potentiometer.
Here are the pin numbers of the female mating connector on the headset

Update:

The PCBA part placement is done. Only need to do finish the schematic and PCB routing. It will be an MCU with a USB 1.1 (fast speed) controller with USB connector. That should emulate the USB interface of the headset. it will have the RJ jack to the motor and also the mini DIN connector for the steering. Then there will be a radio that has a UART port. An additional UART port for debug and a SWD header for flashing firmware. The split radio/MCU solution is a bit more expensive but the good thing is that the radio can be replaced with different types of Bluetooth and/or Ant+ without any base boars design change , i.e/e Nordic, STM or others. can be used. Sometimes radio's go EOL or better or lower cost one ones become avaialable, so it's handy to replace just that part instead of the who interface. If everything goes well, and time allows, should have something working by the end of year.

Are there other trainers that could use the same connector and could use something like this ?
