Some films say they can be combined with others to get a long ride. For example, the description from "Trans Ardennes River": "The tour will eventually end with stage 3 at Dinant where you can extend the ride along the river Meuse to Namur to make a ride of about 100miles or 160km". But I do not understand how to connect the stages together, the output is several separate small rides, instead of one big ride. Is it possible to connect them at the TDA application level?

Not sure if this helps, but https://gotoes.org/strava/ can combine the files after your ride. You can merge multiple files together into one, including trimming any overlap.
