Do not use the launcher. Make a shortcut on the desktop for this file
C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware4\TrainerSoftware.exe
and use it.

Hi Alex
Your suggestion does not solve the issue.
Using the launcher as normal TTS 4 will still work but the servers are down.
This means that
1) Unable to set up an MP session ....
2) Unable to set up MP session on own computer as other Multiplayers can't see it
3) Unable to install recently bought rlv's that require a license code.
These issues will not be solved unless Tacx fix their TTS 4 servers.......Cheers.........Steve

Of course, you are right: my message is not a solution to the server problem at all.
But why? I always use the TTS4 (including RLV from Tacx) offline without an internet connection.

Hi Alex
Yes..........All rlv's will work perfectly with no internet connection
I've done some more testing. With Internet connected if you use a licensed rlv you'll get initialising screen. You'll be stuck on this screen for possibly as long as 3 minutes before the rlv will start.
Tacx have told me there is no more Multiplayer. This is a severe blow to me and my friends in our Strava club as we used MP regularly.

We are currently looking at other MP platforms !!! Cheers..........Steve

Hi All
Tacx will shut down the TTS 4 License server 1st Jan 2020.
At the moment this is the only server online ( GPS & MP Servers already down ) ........So after this date TTS 4 will be a stand alone product. Please remember do not buy any rlv's that require an activation code after 1st Jan 2020 as you won't be able to install them......Cheers Steve

Hi
It used to be that you could import a gpx file into TTS 4 and ride it.......You could also see your progress on the route, along with Google Street View.
Street view definitely won't work but I'll do some testing and get back to you
With Bkool you can import a GPX and ride it. It will give a VR representation of the ride and a map but no street view Bkool has 30 day trial period and says compatible with Tacx Genius .......Cheers...Steve

Obviously, this applies only to the smart version with support for the ANT+ FEC protocol.sgmack wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 6:08 pm and says compatible with Tacx Genius

Hi Alex
Not so obvious !!!
The Bkool "List of compatible trainers" says Genius.........It doesn't say Genius Smart, or i - Genius.
I suspect you're right though. AS the Genius does not use Ant + I fail to see how it could work on Bkool. Cheers.......Steve

i'm really bored, I don't know how to make virtual gps traces that I created!
would someone have another solution??
I also confirm that on tts4 it does not work

Hi
TTS 4 will mostly work if you disconnect it from the Internet.
If you leave Internet connected then rlv's that have a gps profile will take up to 3 mins to start.
Either way gps tracks will no longer show in TTS 4. You should still be able to create / import a route or download and import from Strava. You should then be able to ride the route BUT it will not show !!!
I think the first thing you'll need to do is buy a smart trainer...One that is compatible with the program you choose
If you decide on Bkool this link may help..........Cheers Steve

Thanks Sgmack,
I tried a session by disconnecting the network, and it works correctly.
I only have the profile displayed on the screen which corresponds to my gps track.
I can then export (after reconnecting) my file to strava.
It was better before when I had a screen with the map viewed from above and google streetview and profile, but hey I can still continue to use my Genius.
cordially

Doesn’t you need a valid Google license for this? In which section of the TTS4 do you find your gps track?
Тренируйтесь много, отдыхайте ещё больше!
Hi Alex
You can't buy Google License for TTS 4......... Anyway even if you did have a Google License Tacx have turned off the TTS 4 GPS server.
GPS map view will not work anymore within TTS 4. Profile view should still work though .........Cheers Steve

I just asked about this:
Personally, GPS tracks are not interesting to me, but other users are interested in this:Do you not need a valid Google license for this? In which section of the program do you find your track?
Renel wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2019 12:23 pm Another thing. I would like to upload som gpx files from previous races, to train on. Files are uploaded but will not work without a map, needs a google earth license! I contacted the danish Garmin agent a he send me for free a license number, did not work...he send me another, did not work, and he said I am sorry but I can not do anything for you, fortius not supported anymore...I knew that , are the any other workaround, open source maps? I just want the route, does not need google earth 3D?

While training you can browse through the different screens using up arrow and down arrow on the handlebar interface (or on the keyboard):

Thanks for the answer,
During the ride I only see: Info, Power and one other item.
However I cannot set the view anymore (like before).
The view is now very rough from above . No details of the environment are shown.
Is it not there anymore ??

Hi
Do you mean GPS view ?
If so then this will not show anymore as Tacx have turned off their TTS 4 GPS servers.Multiplayer servers have also been switched off
TTS 4 is now a stand alone and offline legacy product. Please read this entire thread which should explain things for you.
Tacx would now like TTS 4 users to switch to the Tacx TDA subscription platform. Cheers.........Steve

Hi Steve,
This clears the fog for me.
Thanks mate.
Unbelievable. We bought a product and now they want us to pay monthly for a subscription on an app.
Ok it is what it is but I am disappointed ont his view of TACX.
I will still use my 46 DVD's and GPS rides (with low level satellite images which we already had in the ninetees )

Hoi Rick
I agree completely.
It's a real shame servers have been turned off. Myself and riders in my Strava club used Multiplayer regularly.
https://www.strava.com/clubs/TTic
We'll still use TTS 4, meeting on Skype first then all starting our TTS 4's together. Not the same as Multiplayer but workable !!!
We're looking at Tacx TDA & Bkool as possible Multiplayer alternatives......we'll see. We won't use Zwift though as it is too expensive.
Doei doei Cheers........ Steve

New here, Just saw this post while trying to install the tts4 software.sgmack wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2019 2:41 pm Hi All

Is there any way to install it? Or is there another software that would be compatible with tacx I-magic with headunit t1904
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Hi
You could still try to install TTS 4. I checked the Licence server 2/01/20 and it was still up. I presume you have TTS 4 basic.
One other thing you could try is installing TTS 3. but I think that requires a Licence also.
Lastly if you have one of Tacx's earlier, smart trainers, you could install the old original Fortius software. ( No Licence required ) I think there is a download link somewhere on this site
Cheers.....Steve

Unless the TTS license servers are activated again, I think anyone who wants to do a new install of any version of TTS is out of luck.
There is a solution for using the Imagic brake, however. It is the old Fortius software. However, that software only works with a 32-bit operating system. I am doubtful that the T1904 head unit (white with yellow ring) will work with the Fortius software. I can't recall if I ever tried it. I know the all-yellow T1902 Imagic head unit will work with the Fortius software.
The Fortius software will run older Tacx videos prior to their encryption for TTS. There are a lot of free videos and third-party videos that work fine with the Fortius software.
You can download the Fortius software on this website and get additional information on using it. Here is a link:
https://lunicus.org/tacx-trainers/fortius-software/
Of course, one other solution is just to bite the bullet and buy a new brake. The Tacx Flow Smart is basically Smart version (Bluetooth and ANT+) the Imagic brake. I liked the Imagic brake a lot and feel the same about the Flow Smart. The Flow Smart is very reasonably priced (~US$300 if you shop) and is fine for training by mortals. A TDA monthly subscription is also reasonably priced and gives access to a large number of videos. The Flow Smart works with many software systems as well as it conforms to Bluetooth and ANT+ standards.
