Hi,
I always used the GPS rides but now that does not work with StreetView very well anymore I use my Tacx DVD's now.
During a ride on which DVD whatsoever in the left downcorner there is a light v.brk flashing rather constantly.
What does this do ?
Thanks in advance.
Rick
What does v.brk flashing light mean
Thanks for the answer.
It is still a little bit confusing while this is functioning that way.
I get the feeling it lowers my speed when going uphill.
Maybe it should . Is this because the TACX is not always capable of simulating the real % while it cannot reproduce the real resistance ??
If that is the point I have my answer.

Yes, I think you have it. Some brakes are not capable of producing enough resistance to simulate a very steep hill, so the software compensates by lowering the reported speed. It is like shifting you into a lower gear (an electronic gear). If you have a separate speed sensor on the rear wheel that is connected to a handlebar bike computer, you would notice that when this happens the wheel speed is faster than what the software reports on the screen.rick8245 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 3:39 pm Thanks for the answer.

Works similar to the "Slope Difficulty" slider, when use this it looks like it lowers steepness of slope, in actual fact it provides you with extra (virtual) gears thus making it easier to pedal but in so doing also lowers your speed so you actually ascend at correct rate for your actual power output..
