Despite being end of life, TTS4 can still be used for multiplayer on the same network for 2+ computers. To ensure you can ride together on the same network, select LAN Racing when creating (hosting) your ride.

Firewall settings and virus scanner
The first time you do this, windows normally informs you if you want to let the info be passed by your firewall (always say yes). If not you can do the following on each computer:
  • Windows logo
  • Search
  • Type in: windows firewall
  • Select: Add program or part to the Windows Firewall
  • Select: Add another program
  • Select: Browse
  • Now browse to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware4\Trainersoftware.exe
  • Do the same with: C:\Program Files (x86)\Tacx\TacxTrainersoftware4\TacxVR\TacxVR.exe
Note: If you have other firewalls, please consult the manual how to add programs to your firewall settings.

In some cases it can take a little time for the other computers to see the hosted ride, so patience is a virtue.
