Hello everyone,

I wonder if TTS works with other brands of trainers ?
I have a BKOOL Smart pro 2 but there is no BLE on it I think.
And I also have a ANT+ key that I use with Zwift.

What do you think ?

Thanks for your answers

I treid it successfully with CycOps Hammer ans Wahoo KickR.

Both with ANT+ and FE/C Protokoll.

Lets hear, if BKOOL works.

Hey look, someone else who knows what its like when the company that made their silly expensive trainer suddenly stops making/supporting it! :D

That should be fine as TTS does not support BT/BLE. Seem to recall from the old Tacx forums a couple users with BKOOL wheel on trainers, one of whom posted something to the effect of having had more issues with BKOOL's simulator software than with TTS. Of course that said, with regards to TTS, if you do not have a working installation, you are out of luck but you could try Tacx Trainer Application on an Android device with ANT+.

Hey everyone,

Thank you for your answers.
Well I tried different things but it does not detect the trainer. When I'm on zwift I only need to be on the wifi with the ant+ dongle and my phone connects it to zwift.

I did not mention that I'm trying on different computers. I tried on my Acer Chromebook 14 which has BLE. There is a TTS application but maybe it's not supported.
I also tried on my other computer but there's no BLE on it (it's an old one).

So I'm a bit lost in all of that.

What would be the different steps to make it work ?

Thanks :)

Are you sure ? When I try to detect my trainer with ant+ on my computer which doesnt have BLE I get a message that says  »Bluetooth radio is not on. »
And I checked windows radio settings. Everything is activated though.

:?

[edit] oops after reading many posts in the forum I understand I am making confusions between TTS TDA and others... I’m not sure I have fully understand what each application does or does not. :?
The problem above is with TDA

Remember that BTLE is a single instance connection, so if you have already connected to an app or Bkool utility via BT, you will first need to figure out on which app/device is connected, and disconnect from that app before connecting to another app. Also, there is a Tacx Desktop Application (TDA) sub-forum, but for TDA, you can only connect the trainer via BT.

Great info here.
But .... is here anyone who uses, or tried, TTS4 with an Elite Suito?
