So....my wife stood on the T2018 ANT+ dongle that I use to connect my (old) Bushido to TTS, and now it's dead
I see that in the interests of making more things defunct, Tacx are now selling a ~€50 replacement T2028 with matching blue bits...
Are there any alternative ANT dongles I can use which will connect my Bushido to TTS? There are plenty on sale on ebay for around €10 which claim to be compatible....
I don't think there is anything special about the Tacx ANT+ antennas from an electronic standpoint. It is a little more convenient due to the base and cable, but any standard ANT+ dongle should work. It does help to have the dongle reasonably close to the trainer, so you may need a USB extension cable (should not be longer than 5 meters/16 feet).
