I am doing a little investigation into the TTS4 Advanced software that I bought to support a Tacx Genius T2020 and need some information. If my investigation leads anywhere I’ll happily share
Can anyone provide the date when TTS4 software was last sold in the U.K. either with a trainer or on a stand alone basis?
If you don’t have a specific date, what year did it cease to be available in the U.K.?
If you know the above information for a country other than the U.K. please advise.
I don't think I can answer your question precisely, but some of the key dates are:
1-17-19 - last update to TTS4 released (4.23.1)
3-31-19 - support for TTS4 ended
1-1-20 - activation server turned off
I recall that Tacx announced that support for TTS would end roughly a year before 3-31-19.
I think there are various retailers and other sellers who continued to sell TTS4 after these dates. I am sure that many of these sellers never advised their buyers of the obsolete status of the product. There are probably sellers doing the same thing today.
