pretty stupid question for someone who is useing the fortius for years now.
but sometimes I get an "alarm "a bleeping sound from the motorbrake .
this week even when I was sitting next to the bicycle getting my breath and doing some after dripping (yes I get that wet ) but the motorbrake not running
Never found out what triggers this alarm sound .
Does somebody knows ?
alarm

I am not aware of any alarm device on the Fortius brake, power supply, or handlebar unit. I've disassembled all of these devices in the past and do not recall ever seeing a beeper. I even took a look at pictures I have of the 220 volt power supply board and do not see anything that looks like a beeper, although it is possible I missed something. The brake itself is just a motor, nothing else.
As I recall, the old Fortius software itself had an alarm function when your heart rate was either above or below the limits set in the software, but that alarm would come from your computer.

thank you for your reply . yes I couldn't find anything about it in manuals .
The heart rate thingie I knew about and I'm pretty sure it is not what I hear .
But If you say there is not such thing as an alarm in the power supply board I'm happy because it means what I hear is not a warning .
now I still have to find out what it is .

OK , I'm now officially a doofus.
I was sure it was not the heartrate thing what i was hearing because I had set the tresshold on 200 bpm (unreachable high for me )
And now I found that somewhere be it band or reciever makes the bpm going way over 200 (noticed 287) It's not me it's meganical.
Again thank you mcorn for haveing a look at it and that's why this update.
