Rouvy abandonned Streetview pssibilities, what now?

So, Golden Cheetah seems te be the only possibility to ride a gpx file with streetview. However i couldn't find that opportunity in the latest (beta) version .. Anyone kwos if it is stille there? If not, which version does? And if there is stille a version which can be used for it, is there a good manual, step by step, to set it up?

My impression is technical limitations make stitching single streetview-type images into a continuous, smooth, high resolution video that is linked to altitude changes just make this unrealistic, particularly if this has to be created in realtime. There is also the legal issue of using the images for commercial purposes without purchasing a license from the owner of the streetview images.
