Used to be we could go to patches.tacxdata.com but for me that page now returns a 'You do not have permission to view this directory or page.'
There was a link to the full 4.23.0 installer but I did not book mark it but Mcorn or Alex may be able to help as I recall both had archived all the updates in the past.

Just click on either of these and download box will open, or Put either of these in URL bar of your chosen browser then hit return they usually ( I just tried) open a download dialog box where you can choose to save..

Hi all,
damaging my old PC I recognized that TACX stopped the support for TTS completely.
My old HDD and TTS4.23.01 is still running but its on Win8.1.
Building a new PC with Win10 I tried to install all my old software like BaseCamp, GoldenCheetah and of course TTS4.23.01.
I started with the installation from CD (TTS4.08) with the original key but registration was not possible.
Afterwards I loaded the patches 4.23 and 4.23.01.
Then I found this forum and copied the folders like C:/ProgramData, C:/Programme (x86), Seven Soft and also the TTS4.lic from HDD to SDD.
Now if I want to start the program the launcher window comes up and I can start TTS.
After that the TTS window keeps for 4 or 5 seconds the progress bar moves but the windows disappears automatically and nothing happens.
Can anybody help me? What did I do wrong?

Hi before my installation PC dies I decided to "test" installing TTS4 on another PC. I downloaded from the pinned link however I get an error when extracting the .ZIP file. I have tried using WinZip and WinRar both return the same error that the file is corrupt.
Just downloaded again to another PC and have the same error. Is there a problem with the file ? If so can anyone send me a download location for a non corrupted file

I just now download the 4.23 zip file. At first it appeared that it would open without any problem using both 7-Zip and WinRar. However, when I ran both the 7-Zip and WinRAR archive tests, it showed the following errors. Using the archive repair function did not help. I sent a message to Nic. The error is on one of the prerequisite programs and not TTS itself. Hopefully, Nic can run the compression again and get it fixed.

Thanks I noted that as well but thought that maybe more problematic than the TTS4 software as I believe I can just copy that directly from my other PC maintaining the directory structure.

What version of Windows are you using? I did an install on Windows 10 about a year ago without any problems, but there could come a time that it will have problems with W10.

I am running windows 10... strange it works fine with RLV BUT will not open VR or catalyst.
VR goes to TACX cyclist "splash screen" then exits back to the Main TTS window. Catalyst just bombs out of TTS completely. I have tried installing as stated above and copied files from 1 PC to another.. (other PC is windows 10 as well and all current updates are applied.

VR problems in TTS are often caused by a weak video card or a video card driver, but that would not explain Catalyst issues. In addition, sometimes VR does not work because there is a mismatch of the version number do to installation irregularities. Not sure what copying you did from one PC to another. Personally, I would do a fresh install of TTS.4.23.1 (which includes one update) and only copy over the ProgramData files and not the Program files to the new PC.

Actually I quite like TTS.... and I like the fact that I own it and have a good collection of films. I cannot really move on without a new trainer as Fortius wont connect to the more modern stuff. I know there are ANT adapters but not sure they are any good.
4.23.1 No not yet as it was only supposed to correct some issues with Strava... I think but will give that a go
I still have a working TTS install but its getting on a little so was trying this to see if I could future proof my fortius.. I quite enjoy VR so be happy is that could be sorted...

I understand being stuck with a Fortius trainer and few options. If you have a 32 bit OS, you can install the older Fortius software.
I just got very tired of fiddling with TTS over the years. Everything was just too much work and effort. TDA is light years ahead in this regard. Very simple.

A lot of these errors seem related to web services that no longer exist, but I don't know what to say.

Hi yes I have done that on my in use copy... after a couple of days messing about it seems that it is the video card (hinted at by someone in an earlier post) which does not have a dedicated windows 10 driver. It works fine as a PC but VR is possibly a step too far with a generic Win10 driver. Thanks to all of you and especially Alex for spending some time looking at this for me.

As for the previous log you listed, the following line suggests a graphics incompatibility. This could be from from a number of things, incapable graphics card, DirectX issue *video drivers, etc

Good morning, thanks for the input , as you said its a graphics card driver issue... PC sold so will start again with a newer one..
